You may have already heard that Tulisa Contostavlos from N-Dubz has landed the role of X-Factor Judge in the UK X-Factor - If you have not yet heard I don't know where you have been?! The newly appointed judge will appear alongside former Destiny Child band member Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow of Take That and existing judge Louis Walshe. The X-Factor has been at the centre of controversy since the supposed ‘sacking’ of Cheryl Cole, from the US version of the show, and the failure to re-sign Danni Minogue.
Maybe with this new panel of judges the show will encourage a new type of talent and a certain street credibility especially with the arrival of new judge Tulisa. The X-Factor might even expose a certain underground talent within the Grime, Dub-Step, R’n’B scene.
Personally, I am already tired of the X-Factor and people like Simon Cowell but I think it could add a new dimension to the show and hopefully encourage a truly talented individual to shine through and go on to be a world class star like previous winner Leona Lewis.
Urban Voice UK wants to congratulate Tulisa and wish her well in her new role. No doubt her success within the entertainment industry will increase just as her predecessor Cheryl Coles career did. Tulisa is entertaining, current and comes across as honest, fans who watch the ‘Being N-Dubz’ reality show will agree. I think that if Tulisa can hold her own against her fellow band mates, Fazer and Dappy, I am sure that Simon Cowell will be a walk over for the feisty new addition.
